Who we are

About the Studio

The Social Impact Studio designs, develops, and builds social impact initiatives for nonprofits, social enterprises, and corporate ESG teams. We use the title Social Impact Architects rather than consultants because the work we do goes beyond giving advice — we’re here to help you actually build something that lasts.

Architecture is the art, science, and technique of planning, designing, and building. In the same way, we bring creativity, data and analytics, and a human-centered approach to craft blueprints for social impact — programs that are strategically aligned, structurally sound, and built to stand the test of time. Consulting is part of our work, but the heart of our practice is more holistic: translating big ideas into well‑designed, durable impact.

Through The Social Impact Studio, our Social Impact Architects collaborate with clients to co‑create initiatives that not only advance business goals, but also build a world of good.

About Meg

Meg Rauth (she/her) is a Social Impact Architect and founder of The Social Impact Studio. She brings decades of experience building and scaling cross-sector initiatives for nonprofits, social enterprises, and corporations.

Meg’s career path has been mapped by a deep curiosity about the world and a genuine desire to improve the lives of the people who live here. These values guide her work as she thoughtfully helps organizations turn good intentions into meaningful outcomes. She has led philanthropic and ESG initiatives at tiny local nonprofits as well as billion‑dollar global corporations. She has developed programs and coached high‑impact teams internally, and consulted on social impact strategies externally, giving her a breadth of skills, perspectives, and empathy that is anything but one‑sided. By working on social issues from different angles, Meg is able to better understand not only root causes, but optimal solutions where mission, metrics, and human experience align.

Her favorite long‑term build, however, is a pair of small humans — an evolving experiment in joyful systems design and sustainable fun. Meg’s 10‑year‑old model now routinely beats her at chess, knows more about both the universe and the Mesozoic era than most adults, and dreams of running his own architecture firm, building eco‑friendly structures to help save the planet. Her 7‑year‑old model is forever crafting with odds & ends scavenged from around the house, has been skateboarding and surfing since she was three, and fully intends to become a goalkeeper on the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team. We dream big in this household.

Meg is a founder, designer, consultant, leader, and mom — an architect of social impact committed to building a world of good.
